Bed of Roses is at the top of the Stone Store Hill overlooking a tranquil expanse of rural scenery. It’s a quiet oasis, yet just a short walk to the village and to the river basin with its yachts, historic buildings and Maori heritage.

Cliff and Louisa provide free airport transfers from and to the Bay of Islands airport by prior arrangement.

Directions

From Whangarei take SH1 North to Pakaraka.
Turn right onto SH10 and travel 18km.
Turn right at the round-a-bout on to Kerikeri Road.
Travel along Kerikeri Road through the village where you will detour for one block on a one way system and back on to Kerikeri Road. Turn left on to Kerikeri Road at the end of the detour.
Proceed along Kerikeri Road travelling straight through the round-a-bout at the end of the village shops and then on and straight through the round-a-bout at the by-pass.
You will see the North Tech campus on the right as you travel down the hill towards the Stone Store.
Bed of Roses is on the right immediately past the Technical Institute.
